Cubetto Adventure is a game I designed at Primo Toys to introduce children to programming, using a visual language.
The main character of the story is the little wooden robot Cubetto, lost in the woods trying to find its way home.
As children play the game, helping Cubetto to find its way back home, they progressively learn about variables, loops, functions and the fundamental concepts of programming.
The game runs in the browser, it's open source and all the design assets were created using only free and open software. The game engine was implemented by tezzutezzu.
